After completing paragliding school you need to obtain a flying permit. Naturally, not every location is fit for flying, so flying is only permitted on official airfields across Croatia.
Where are the best places to fly?
When the wind is good, you can fly from the Alančić Peak on Velebit all the way to the island of Rab! Some of the most popular airfields are Tribalj near Crikvenica, Ivanšćica, and Sljeme (Zagreb), but Učka also has its charms because it enables long flights over the Kvarner Gulf.
