Feel the Fire Inside: Fly Like a Dragon

Humans have always wanted to fly like birds, soar the sky, and observe the world. The activity most similar to this is paragliding. A good “wing”, a little courage, and a favourable wind… Enjoy Croatia from a height!

Once you get wings, everything else is easy.

The favourable thermodynamic flow of low Croatian mountain peaks enables professionals, amateurs, and their instructors excellent flying and absolute paragliding pleasure.

To be ready to fly away, you need to pass school with an A!

After completing paragliding school you need to obtain a flying permit. Naturally, not every location is fit for flying, so flying is only permitted on official airfields across Croatia.

Where are the best places to fly?

When the wind is good, you can fly from the Alančić Peak on Velebit all the way to the island of Rab! Some of the most popular airfields are Tribalj near Crikvenica, Ivanšćica, and Sljeme (Zagreb), but Učka also has its charms because it enables long flights over the Kvarner Gulf.

Nothing is better than flying!

Is it possible to remain indifferent when you fly off Pržinovac on Biokovo and underneath you lie craggy rocks, the white beaches of the Makarska Riviera, and the blue sea sparkling in the sun?
